The ARBITRARIUM Housing Cooperative
We are a house in the Seward neighborhood of Minneapolis, with a 14-year history of community and inclusion towards artists, musicians, makers, creatives, and other misfits. Soon after our landlord notified us of his intent to sell the property, we incorporated as a 308(a) nonprofit housing cooperative. We have been working with NASCO and LEAF to prepare our project for financing approval. If we reach our fundraising target, we could close as early as November 15.
Help us bring cooperative organization into the Minneapolis tradition of the DIY punk house. We are hoping to grow as a fixture in the neighborhood, and provide community value in the form of sliding scale services, performance events, skill sharing, and advocacy for cooperation and creativity.
