The ARBITRARIUM Cooperative
We Are Restructuring
The Arbitrarium was not able to acquire our target property and has voted to restructure its mission and purpose. Below is the mission statement from our amended bylaws.
What this means is that we now plan to table any search for artist-occupied housing property, and instead focus on providing non-live work space to our members. As we develop, we will be renting artist studios, rehearsal rooms, and storage facilities to maximize economies of scale, and allowing our members access to those spaces.
We are currently accepting new members who would like to help us develop and fulfil this mission. Contact info@arbitrarium.org to join. Fundraising Campaign RefundsIf you donated to the Arbitrarium, we hope that we are honoring your generosity with our updated mission. We think this is the next best way to create a more stable community for creative people.
For those donors who don’t support our new mission, we are open to issuing refunds between now and March 15. Contact us at info@arbitrarium.org to request a refund of your donation. We will be prioritizing larger donations for refund consideration. Either way, we thank everyone who came through for us! Note that if you signed a contract, your refund is automatic and you will be hearing from us directly. |
